Ethiopia and Somalia pledged on Thursday to strengthen their bilateral relations following the visit of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
During the visit of Abiy Ahmed to Somalia, both sides expressed readiness to enhance cooperation in various areas. Ongoing negotiations between the leaders of both countries led to a shared understanding of the importance of developing partnerships for achieving peace and stability in the region.
"We are ready to deepen our ties and focus on cooperation to accelerate the development process of both countries," stated the Prime Minister of Somalia.
